Our vast and mysterious oceans that cover over 70% of Earth's surface, plays a crucial role in our planet's health and well-being. In many spiritual and cultural traditions, these oceans are seen as integral parts of Mother Earth, or Gaia, a living entity that sustains all life. Whales are often seen as embodying the collective consciousness of the planet, connecting us to a deeper level of awareness. Their spiral feeding patterns and migration movements symbolizes the interconnection of all beings in nature.

One feminine force, endless emanations; Sophia – the giver of wisdom in so many forms. She is both Mary Magdalene as the earthly companion of the Christ in Christian Gnosticism and Mother Mary in her ascendant form as the all mother of compassion. She is Shakti in Sanskrit, the prevalent Hindu embodiment of feminine wisdom, and the personal and collective linking soul as atman, realised in the transcendental state of Samadhi. She is the kind-hearted Boddhisatva in Buddhism, returning to light the way to nirvana; personified by the deity Quan-yin. In Jungian psychology, she is termed as the merging power, individuation, of both the feminine and masculine archetypes, and of the lower self of the psyche with the higher spiritual self (Gnosis).

The Lion, a symbol renowned for courage, strength, and bravery. I received the inspiration for this creation through Archangel Michael. The lion's ability to conquer its prey in the dark symbolises Michael's power over the forces of darkness. He is viewed as the angelic model for the virtues of the spiritual warrior; his conflict with evil taken as 'the battle within'. Archangel Michael is often depicted as the Prince chief of the heavenly host, leading the angels of heaven in the war against evil wickedness in the shadows of the cosmos. He is the protector and guardian of humanity.

Inspired by the mythical stories of the ancient warriors of Scotland and Ireland. The symbolism in this piece is the Z-arrow, crescent moon and the serpent. All found in stone carvings throughout the celtic lands, echoing mystery and the force of nature and spirit.

The Hand of Fatima/Hamsa, is a symbolic hand which represents protection in both Jewish and Islamic cultures. The hamsa hand likely spread from Mesopotamia to Egypt, adapting into a two-finger talisman called the Mano Pantea meaning “Hand-of-the-All-Goddess”.

Metamorphosis - The internal transformational cycle of life, death and rebirth. Facing the end of one life cycle and embracing the challenges and changes that comes with embarking onto yet another path in the spiral of life. As the wheel of creation keeps on spinning and take us on different journeys to get to know ourselves deeper, so we flow and follow. Perhaps, seemingly, loosing the inner navigational compass on occasion. But to try and rise again we must. To keep on going despite what the outer dream reality looks like. The two colors of the skull symbolize the intertwining and merging of the feminine and masculine forces residing in us all. The prose poem Desiderata by Max Ehrman (1927) is partially an inspirational source to this piece.

Starshine emblem with a Buddhist dharma wheel in the middle. Originally I started making this with the star of Inanna as an inspiration but it slowly turned into this multilayered star emblem with the Buddhist dharma wheel in the middle. The dharma wheel is a reminder of the path to liberation from suffering and the cycle of rebirth (Samsara).

Water is known as a feminine element and is the life-giving waters of our mother’s womb. To the alchemist water represents the fluidity of consciousness, it moves around any obstacle in its path without losing its essential nature. Its energy gives life to our intuition. To harness the element of water, we must learn to be flexible in our lives, just as a river trusts the twists and turns of it banks on its way to the ocean.

Earth represents our connection to nature and symbolizes the need for a solid foundation and the importance of grounding oneself. Earth is associated with nourishment, both physical and spiritual. It represents the importance of nurturing oneself and others. As the element of slow, steady growth, earth symbolizes patience, perseverance, and the ability to endure challenges. It represents the importance of building things gradually and with care.

The element of fire is associated with passion and dynamic energy. It represents the vital force of life, the power of creation, and the potential for destruction. Fire is often linked to emotions, desires, and the will. It symbolizes passion, enthusiasm, and the drive to achieve goals. As a source of heat and light, fire represents energy, vitality, and the power of creation. Fire is associated with transformation, growth, and the process of rebirth.

The element of Air is connected to the intellect: mind, reason, and logic. As the element that carries sound, air is linked with communication, both verbal and nonverbal. It represents the the power of words, and the importance of listening. Air is constantly in motion, it is also related to change, adaptability, and the ability to embrace new ideas and experiences. Air is often seen as a symbol of freedom and independence. It represents the ability to move freely, to think without constraint, and to express oneself openly.
